THE BOULEVARD was commissioned in 2018 by the Azusa Pacific University Jazz Ensemble, David Beatty, director. It’s a challenging shuffle written for an outstanding college band. The saxophone soli is a highlight and the shout chorus provides a rousing end to a memorable chart!
