Many years after the first version was written, Samba De Linda is still one of my favorite compositions. “Linda” is my wife’s name – the piece was completed on her birthday so it seemed only right that the title should have her name in it. It is a medium-fast jazz samba that features solos by soprano sax and trombone. This is challenging but rewarding music that will excite your audience. Recorded several times over the years, Samba De Linda can be found on the DCJO CD, ENTER AUTUMN.
