This swinging chart was commissioned by the Jazz Bands of Santiago High School in Corona, California to honor the founding director of the their band program, Kris Parish, upon his retirement in 2018. The form is Minor Blues with a Bridge; the A sections are 12-bar minor blues in F while the Bridge is based on “Rhythm Changes.”  There is a fun-to-play sax soli of 44 measures that is bebop-like in character, but not difficult. Solos are for Trumpet and Tenor Saxophone.
