AT THE EDGE OF SPRING - This is the title song of the David Caffey Jazz Orchestra CD released in January 2025. The composer’s intent is to create music that depicts the best part of winter, which is right “at the edge of Spring.” The tune is expressive and lyrical but swings in three. Solos are for guitar, alto sax, trumpet and drums.
